A private overnight stay at the top of Bungalow Hill, overlooking 60 acres of restored pollinator habitat in northern Wisconsin. Monarchs, fireflies, deer, barred owls, ruffed grouse, the occasional porcupine. Total darkness. Total quiet. No resort amenities — just the land.
This is a wild place. Read the seasonal notes before you book.

Seasonal Rates

June–August (Peak) — $400/night
June: firefly season. July–August: peak monarch activity. Deer flies are present in July — bring repellent.
April–May & September (Migration) — $275/night
Monarchs moving through, woodcock returning, grouse drumming. Best months for bug-sensitive guests.
October–November (Hunting Season) — $150/night
Cold. Quiet. Dependent on freezing temperatures.

Adopt Butterfly Bungalow Hill ($1,000) and receive two nights in the bungalow plus first-priority booking before dates open to the public. Also includes a t-shirt, Sanchez the Butterfly coffee mug, milkweed seeds, a private Facebook group, and your adoption certificate.
